SuperAwesome! and Andrew Hem's latest mural at the Oakland Museum

If you haven't yet had a chance to visit SuperAwesome: Art and Giant Robot at the Oakland Museum, you should get over there and check it out before the show closes on July 27th. Before you venture into the main exhibition, make sure to head up to street level and visit the Oak Street Plaza to see Andrew Hem's latest mural, a tour de force entitled "I think that possibly maybe I've fallen for you," which he completed in just five days.

Afterward, you can spend hours exploring the rest of the exhibition downstairs, which includes a fascinating look at the 20-year history of Giant Robot, as well as new work by 14 artists, including Erratic Phenomena favorites like Rob Sato, David Choe, Sean Chao and Ako Castuera. We road-tripped up there for the opening, so I can assure you it's worth a visit!
